Sabetta. Winter
Further details about Sabetta, this time focusing on the winter season.
The first and second parts can be read through the links, where I talked about my initial impressions and the summer time in this place :)
In winter, Sabetta has a slightly different atmosphere - fewer people venture outside.
The COVID-19 situation continued, and many, like myself, still worked from their rooms.
When I arrived, there was no snow yet, but the Arctic foxes had already "changed into" their winter coats.
It's always nice when you are expected! ^^) But this is not my office.
The picture says, "Welcome home, our dear ones!!!"
During the pandemic in Sabetta, the system was such that some people, those involved in production and the main office, lived and worked separately, while others lived elsewhere and worked from their rooms. I don't know how effective it was, but it seemed like everyone was relatively satisfied :)
The central office is located at the site.
In principle, there were no special events. I had to spend 6 weeks on a shift, with several work-related trips.
The rest of the time was spent in my room, in a cozy atmosphere.
The view from the window, with only the colors of jackets changing.
Several times a day, there were "walks" to the cafeteria to eat or grab some food to go.
In the cafeteria, we celebrated a special day once))
The picture says, "Happy Shift Worker Day!"
Sometimes, there were frosty evening walks around the camp.
Where could you meet such northern friends ;)
Free time was spent on studying; the environment allowed for comfortable learning.
Once, they took me on a trip around the site.
In one building, we were searching for a warehouse for a long time and stumbled upon an interesting garage with big vehicles.))
I also remember a stroll to the storage of equipment, an old building where it was quite cold despite the giant heaters - that's where they issued all the work-specific clothing.
Well, overall, working in the north, especially in Russian companies, is more of a challenge than an advantage.
When I get to the next set of archives, I'll write about working in a foreign company and after it.
In the end, just beautiful views, sunsets, that northern vibe :)
And that's it, airport and back...
